The pictures illustrate the alterations of the town of Fosbury’s outskirts between 1980 and 2015.
Overall, the area experienced several noticeable changes, including the relocation of the amenities and the erection of the road layout.
The most striking alteration is in the traffic facility, a roundabout was put up, resulting in the flattening of the old grocery shop and a block of flats. Moreover, the Terraced houses were demolished, make room for a new supermarket. Additionally, there was a construction of a car park next to it. In the North West of the town, the residential houses remained unchanged while the town’s park was relocated to an empty area nearby.
Move to the South East area of the outskirts, where used to have two tennis courts in 1980 but in 2015, it was replaced by a sports center and another car park next to it. On the commercial side, some warehouses were built resulting in the tearing down of the old fields.
