The maps illustrate the outlying districts of Fosbury town in 2015 following the modification after 1980 .
Overall , the area underwent a major makeover during the period , including the elimination of residential areas and fields to create space for warehouses , car park and supermarket. The tennis courts and road changed and the houses and hotel were the sites that did not experience major changes .
Looking first at appearance of the town in 1980 , the fields were surrounded with trees . There were a Hotel , Grocer’s shop and Block of flats on the north side , the opposite side of which was a terraced houses . On the western side of the main road , two tennis courts were located and a large park was in between houses and courts .
With regard to the recent design of the area , many spots were removed to give way for introductions . Such abolished areas were fields and terraced houses to allow space for car park , supermarket and warehouses respectively . Instead of the park , new residential buildings were built . The tennis courts changed to the sports center and car park and also the straight way was changed to roundabout after modernization . Despite going through some minor alternatives , the houses and hotel stood in their original locations .
