The following maps demonstrate the changes of the outskirt area of the Fosbury town between 1980 and 2015.
Overall, there were a noticeable alterations to the roads and sport amenities. Also, new commercial facilities were built.
In 1980, there were a large field at the south-west of the outskirts, but by 2015 it was replaced with an enormous warehouses. Whereas, at the southern part there was a pair of tennis courts. However, by 2015 it was demolished, and sports center and car parking were built in that place.
Another major change to the area was, that in 2015 they focused more on commercial and industrial sides. Terraced houses were removed with parking and supermarket. However, Grocer’s shop was also demolished alongside with block of flats. Nevertheless, they had changed the structure of roads. Instead of straight line roads, they had made it more round.
To sum up, the area was completely refrubished, with the focus on commercial and industrial sides.
