The maps display the layout of Piltover library back in 1984 and at present.
Overall, it can be seen that several changes have made to renovate the library.
First of all, the library building has been expanded towards the West. To the north of the community meeting room, in the expanded area, the fiction and non-fiction books have been kept. Previously, the fiction book shelves were kept to the East, whereas the non-fiction ones were kept in the South of the building. However, at present, the DVDs and CDs have been kept to the middle right, and a large Multimedia centre has newly been added to the south. However, in 1984, the only source of media was a small shelf containing newspapers and magazines in the Western side along with a copier next to it.
Moving on, the children’s book area has been placed in the Northwest extended corner. Before, this was in the Northeast corner just beside the entrance. Now, in that place, self-service book checkout and information desk/ technical support area have been newly included respectively. To the left of the entrance, a small book drop off has replaced the librarian’s desk. Additionally, in the large central area, four round desks have replaced three long tables.
