The maps illustrate the alterations of a town called Wildon from 1990 to present. In general, it can be inferred that the town has become less industrial today with the demolish of the factories.
Initially, in the north of the city there were several houses, but currently it decreased in number. In 1990 the city had a transport depot in western part and some factories next to it. Today, those buildings were knocked down, so the park area become larger and people can play golf there. Community centre was built in the eastern part next to the main road.
If we look at the maps in more detail, we can see that factories were dominated in the south part of the city in 1990. There is also a café next to them. Currently, it transformed to a restaurant with outdoor area and also additional block of flats are introduce. The waterfront where next to the river is still the same.
