The two provided maps illustrate how the town of Wilden has changed between 1990 and today. Overall, the town has witnessed a significant transformation from an industrial area to a residential one. The most remarkable change is that all the factories have been replaced by several blocks of flats.

To the north of the map, a transport depot was demolished to make space for planting trees. In addition, some factories and houses were flattened, with the emergence of a community center and the park has been widened with a mini golf course in it.

In the south, the factories that were built in 1990 were redeveloped as blocks of flats and relocated to the southeast side of the waterfront. Not only that, the cafe in 1990 has been converted into a restaurant and moved to the southwest side of the waterfront with some tables and chairs outside.
