The given maps illustrate the changes of the town of Wilden over a thirty five-year period, from 1990 to the present.

Overall, the town of Wilden has undergone a considerable transformation from an industrial area to a more residential town. Several new facilities have been added, and the green space in the town, particularly the park, has been significantly expanded.

One of the most noticeable changes is that the factories and cafe along the waterfront have been demolished and replaced by four blocks of flats and a restaurant with outdoor space which is equipped by tables and chairs. On the opposite side of the main road, the other two factories and a huge transport depot have been knocked down to make way for the expansion and modernization of the park, which now includes a new mini golf course. Looking at the most northeast corner of the maps, a new community center has been introduced. Moreover, there is another prominent transformation that several homes near the park have removed, creating a larger open green space today.
