Overall, before the construction of Nelson city there were university, train station, old market, car center and port. While now there are hall of residence, new shoping center, new train station, new shop, new covered market, bike rental scheme, restaurant and bars and clubs.

In detail, in 2000 there was a university on north side. while in in west side there were train station and old market. There was a city centre in the middle and below it there is port on south side. After construction there are hall of residence, university and new shoping centre on the north side of the mape. While in the middle there is new train station and bide rental scheme, on the left side is a new shope, while on right side there is a new covered market. Ending part of the mape there are restaurant on west south side, while on the east south side there is a bars and clubs. While in the middle there is a port.
