Many new buildings have been built, especially for shopping, transport, and entertainment. At the same time, the traffic system has been improved, with more focus on walking and eco-friendly vehicles.
Regarding many changes in the north and the center of the city. In the north area of the city, in 2000, it have mostly a university and green zones around. But now, this place was expand and develop a lot. A dormitory for student and a new shopping center is build, while the university stay same. Because of these change, the north part become more crowded and modern than before. In the city center, in 2000, there was old market and some basic buildings. Today, the old market was replaced by a roofed market more modern. Also, many new shop has been open and a bike rental area added. These changing make the city center more busy and service area.
In terms of various changes about traffic and in the south area. About transport, the old train station was change to a new one more modern. Also, some roads in city center has turn into walking-only area. These change show the city want to reduce using private vehicle and support sustainable moving. In the south part, the port still in same place like before. But now, many new building appear around it. A restaurant was build near the port, and bars and clubs open in southeast area. This show the south area is develop for tourism and entertainment.
