These pie charts compare the percentage of five different forms of energy production (gas, petrol, nuclear, coal, and others) of France in 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it can be seen that Gas, petrol, and coal were the most sources of energy production of France throughout the period, while the least energy was produced from nuclear and other sources throughout.
In terms of coal, it was produced at 29.80% of the total energy in 1995 and increased slightly to 30.93% in 2005. The energy from Gas started at 29.63% and rise to 30.31% after 10-year period. Conversely, the petrol produced for 29.27% in 1995 making it the third source but fell by just more than 10% in 2005.
On the other end of the spectrum, nuclear and others accounted the least sources of energy manufacturing in France. The former produced 4.9% in 1995 and increased by nearly half of the total energy production of France in 2005. The latter started at 6.4% in 1995 and rise to 10.1% in 2005.
