The table chart gives information about the proportion of the population in four different age groups in a particular nation in two specific years, 2000 to 2020.
Overall, it is clear that the age group of 25 – 54 had the highest proportion, in both 2000 and 2020 while the 15 – 24 ages group had the lowest.
In term of table chart, in the age of 0 – 14 group was 20% in 2000 and 18% in 2020 had population. Moreover, the 15-24 age group was the lowest in both years, which accounted for 15% in 2000 and dropped slightly to 13% in 2020 respectively. Furthermore, the age group of 25 – 54 had the highest proportion at 40% and it slightly increased to 42%.
Regarding the final category, the percentage of people aged 55 and over, its proportion was 12% in 2000 and then rose to 21% in 2020.
