Overall, all categories experienced upward trend over the years. The majority of women in Australia have been pursuing the higher education at increased rate in other countries. In contrast, South Korea had the lowest percentage of females throughout the period.
According to the graph, the percentages of students from the UK and USA students rose from around 35% and 37% respectively in 1980 and surged to approximately 55% and 58% in 2015. In France, the number of school leavers was 50% in 1980 and slightly increased to just over 50% in 2015.
In contrast to the earlier period, the rate for South Korean women was 15% and doubled by the end of the period. In the meantime, Australian school-leavers had the most highest percentage in the graph and just under 60%, with no change between the two years.
