The diagram illustrates the process of how wool is produced.
It is evident that the process involves eleven steps as part of two main stages, initially from raising sheep to creating products for people to use.
The first stage commences with raising sheep. People then collect wool from sheep. Fleeces after that process will go through a cleaning process to ensure that dirt will be removed. Washed wool will undergo a drying process and be ready for the carding step, where it is combed and aligned, producing both tufts of wool and string. String then can be recycled for various purposes, while tufts of wool will undergo the next stage.
Moving on to the next stage, tufts of wool will be stored and spun into balls of yarn. Once fleeces become balls of yarn, they will be used for two main purposes: knitting or being the material for jackets or carpets.
