Band 5: The pictures below show the changes that took place at laguna beach from 1950 to 1990. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The given map displays the modification that took place at Laguna beach over 40 years.

Overall, we can notice that beach hunts have been transformed into villas and hotel, whereas surf school complex has been built in 1990. The sea remain unchanged over all these years.

In 1950, the beach hunts building located in the middle of the sand dunes and track was redeveloped into huge villa in 1970, whereas sand dunes remained untouched. The track which was situated in the right hand side was re-constructed into road and forest has been chopped and caravan park was constructed. The area of beach remain untouched untill 1970. Furthermore, the space occopied by sea remain unconvertable.

In the other hand, beach hunt and villas is transformed into hotel and the pool is being facilitated in the right side, above the road in 1990. The sea dunes which was situated in the left hand side of villa is now redevelopef into landcoped gardens. Next, the car park has been reconstructed in the place of woodland and caravan park. Finally, the space captured by beach has been minimized to built a surf school building.
