The pictures illustrate the structures of three types of bridges in distinctive locations.
In general, it is noticeable that three different kinds of bridges are constructed in a wide range of geographical conditions with particular dimensions. Notably, the suspension bridge has the largest size which is convenient for larger vehicles.
Regarding the first bridge,the arch bridge is built above a lake, in which the total length does not usually exceed 200 meters. Furthermore, the height of this bridge is no more than 100 meters, just allowing small ships to transport. Concerning the more complicated structure, a concrete girder bridge is constructed on the river, with a height under 300 meters, while the length is unpredictable since it depends on the number of piers. There is a huge amount of piers, which are spaced at intervals of 200 meters, perfectly for the route of a middle size ship.
When it comes to the suspension bridge, it can be observed that this bridge is placed at the sea, with a deep dimension to the bottom of the bodies of water. It is worth noting that there is a reduction of piers, compared to the concrete girder bridge, only 2 remaining piers. Finally, the distance of the two piers ranging from 400 to 2000 meters, along with the spaces for largest size ships to operate, compared to mentioned buildings.
