The line graph shows how much renewable energy was used by different countries between 1971 and 2011.
Overall, it is clear that the percentage of Finland led the pack, with the UK bottoming the chart. All places experienced growths in usage, expect for Finland, whose figure decreaed slighlty over the years. Additionally, the USA showed the most significant rise compared to others.
Starting with Finland that dominated the chart initially, with almost 25%, a figure that decreased considerably to around 17% in 1991. However, the figure went up again to about 24% in 2011, retaining its dominance. The United States, in turn, was almost at the bottom of the chart at the beginning, at only 3%. However, despite many fluctuations, the figure for the US increased dramaticall, reaching its peak, at approximately 18%, about the period. The UK comes last that accounted for a mere 1% in 1971, this share grew stably, without any noticeable declines, to more or less 6% in 2011.
Turning to Germany and France that exhibited similar proportions in the initial year, with the respective figures of around 6% and 7%. This was followed by their substabtial rises to 14% and 15% at the end, respectively. The final country- Denmark- showed significant fluctuations, commencing with nearly 15% and culminating with about 17% in 2011.
