The chart shows data on the place and kind of dance classes that younger people in a city in Australia are participating in. Looking at the chart, we can understand that most people are dancing ballet, and that their ages were under 11 years old.
In this chart, private studios account for 48% of all dance venues in the city, and this was a very high result. College-based studios formed 10%, and this was two times less than private studios. Community halls and others formed 24%. Many children younger than 11 years old participated in ballet. But people older than 11 years old did not participate in ballet like the younger children.
Despite this, many people aged 11–16 years attended modern dance classes. This was known. And many people were involved in this type of dance. This is the reason that people did not go to the ballet classes. And the results for tap dance were similar.
