In addition, solar and wind are predicted to rise by 2040, from 2% and 5% to 18% and 12%, respectivelly.
On the other hand, nuclear energy will grow up by 1% by the following 25 years. However, the other renewable energy sources were the second biggest source in 2015, which accounted for 22%, and it is being projected to drop by 3% by the next 13 years.
