The diagram provides a breakdown of water use for three various purposes in two places and the worldwide.
It is obvious that large amount of water is utilized for the residential in California and San Diego while the opposite is true for the rest of the world.
Looking at the pie charts closely, the figures for San Diego and California for the residential are 60 percent and 39 percent, respectively in terms of water usage. However, this trend is the lowest for worldwide by constituting 8 percent of all water. As the figure for agriculture, there is a significant difference among them, 17 and 28 percent of all water is utilized in California and San Diego, respectively while nearly 70 percent of water is used in the rest of the world for the agriculture.
When it comes to industry, such dramatic difference is not observed, the figures for San Diego and worldwide are the same by accounting for roughly quarter of all water while around a third of water is used for industry in California.
