Overall, Western Europe was the highest water consumer in 99s,while Australia and New Zeeland were the significant water users. All the regions saw perceptible peak, except for Western Europe.
In 1999 Western Europe had nearly half of the overall bottled water consumption. The next biggest water consumer was Australia with the use of 15% and New Zealand had just over a tenth proportion of exhaustion of drinking water. Latin America shares fourth place within overall water consumption with 10% of usage, while middle East with Africa, and Asia with USA had the same percentage of 5% and 2%, respectively.
Asia had increased by 14% in 2001, which was the highest percentage increase among all regions all over the world.increasing by nearly 12% New Zealand and Latin America own second place in change of usage of drinking water. Just under 10% upward trend was seen in regions such as Middle East and Africa, while Australia and America had increased only by 8%. In addition, Western Europe’s exhaustion of drinking water had increased only for 2% roughly in 2001,but at the first,it has under a half of water depletion in 99s.
