In term of the propotion of world forest in five different areas, we can see Africa occupy almost one quater of the world at 27%. Following that is North America with 25% of forest compare in the world and 7% higher than the figure for Europe. About the timber of each region we can see the trend that the areas with high percentage of forest tend to timber than the region which have less forest.
