Overall, it can be seen from the pie charts that, each region also have the amount of using wood over than its percentage of forest in the world.
In term of the propotion of world forest in five different areas, we can see Africa occupy almost one quater of the world at 27%. Following that is North America with 25% of forest compare in the world and 7% higher than the figure for Europe. South America extremerly reached the lowest of the list with just 16% in the amount of forest compare with the world and exactly at the lowest place is Asia with 14%.
About the timber of each region we can see the trend that the areas with high percentage of forest tend to timber than the region which have less forest. However,Africa is opposite with the amount of timber just 9%. Besides, North America have 30% of timber and reach the top of list. Following by that is South America with 23% of timber it also 2 times higher than its percentage of forest. Asia and Eroupia have similar propotion of timber with it percentage of forest with a turn is 20% and 18%
