The chart shows the total expenditure done by UAE administration in the year 2000. The cumulative budget for the country is AED 315 billion in the period.
Overall, social security has the highest budgeted rate, while transport was recorded the lowest. Debt interest and other expenditure has a similarity in the total money reserved for spending.
Social security had AED 100 billion preserved for its sector, consuming almost half of the total proportion. Although, health and personal social services had 50 billion of UAE currency given to them for spending, it still didn’t exceed the latter. While education, defence, law and order, housing heritage and environment, and industry, agriculture and employment followed each other respectively.
In contrast, transport sector was given just AED 9 billion, positioning them as the smallest in terms of expense allocation. A similarity is visible between interest on debt and other form of expenditure in UAE, as they both had AED 23 billion which is slightly below one-third of the total money allocation.
