Overall, the number of women given birth at ages 19-24 years old shows a prevalent 61% in 1966 before declining consistently in 2006. Meanwhile,the group of women aged 30-34 showed a dramatic change from 11% to 54% in 2006 and the other experienced an up and down trend.
In 1966, the number of women given birth at the ages 19 and 24 rose at 61% but decreased throughout the period, while the number of women given birth at 34 to 39 rose steadily up to 30%, the women under 19 years old this reported downward trend, followed by women over 40.
By contrast, women at 30-34 reported a significant growth from roughly 11% in 1966 to nearly 45% in 2004. In addition, the other group in three different years has displayed the similar proportion, which is under 35% throughout the years.
