Overall, it is clear that television was leading the charge with the highest value, followed by newspaper, which is closely trailed by family and friends. In contrast, the least amount of data was obtained from hospitals and primary care clinics.
Looking closely at the values, the figures for TV were the highest among all at approximately 90.2%. Following this, newspaper took the second highest share and accounted for nearly 49.7%. Family and friends made up around 39.8%. It was closely trailed by radio which totaled around 33.8%.
The rest of the different means used for gathering information comprised of internet, messaging apps, posters and hospitals. Social media and messaging apps like Whatsapp, Wechat etc together constituted almost 50%. However, the numbers for posters and leaflets were very low roughly around 5.5%. Hospital and Primary care clinics took the lowest share in sharing information at merely 2.7%.
