The two graphs given illustrate the portion of money that UK students spend on different criteria per month and how they got it from in 2016.

Overall, the pie chart depicts that most of the students’ expenditure was spend on basic needs and entertainment. In addition, the bar chart comprised six distinct sources which had at least 30% of students got their money from.

In average, students in UK spent about $800 per month nine years ago in 2016, in which approximately a half of it had gone to the rent, costing $385 each month. Followed by food and bills, which cost $124 and $69 respectively. Moreover, money spent on entertainment and others held a quarter of all the money used, had a total of $204 .

The sources that students got their income were varies The most prevelant way was from students’ loan, which more than 80% of students applied for. Also, about two third of students got their income from their families and worked on part time jobs. Although there were still more than 40% of UK student had used savings, bank overdraft and grants for sources to earn money, it seemed uncommon in comparison to the others.
