The pie chart illistrates the proportion of men and women arrested in the UK ranging from 2015 ending with 2020 and the bar graph highlights the causes for these people’s arrest.
Overall, a lot of males were arrested rather than females and the most common reason which was public intoxication for both genders. After than, drink driving made up higher percentage of cause.
Starting with males, they rates of arresting accounted for 32% and they weren’t taken 68% by police in the Uk. Looking at the bar chart, we can see public intoxication was the most reason of arrest with just over 30%, followed by drunk driving with higher percentage of just over 20.
When it comes to females, they level of arresting made up 9% and rest of females didn’t arrest with 91% by authority. Like men, public intoxication was the most percentage with just under 40% for female which they were caused for arresting and assault accounted for well under 20% with nearly the same with other causing. Furthermore, drinking drive ,breaking and entertaining and theft were constituted with approximately 15% , about 12%, and nearly 14%, respectively
