Overall, the biggest categories of expenses were besides food, transport, housing, and clothing. The most widely occupied nation in the world is Asia. However, the highest resource consumption came from the USA & Europe.
Looking into more detail, there are 5 categories of world spending, and others account for two-fifths of expenditure. Many items can be categorized as others, but what is certain is that apart from food, transport, housing, and clothing. The second-largest sequence is food at 24%, and the smallest is clothing at 6%.
Relating spending to population size highlights significant differences across regions. The world population is divided into 5 regions, of which Asia is the biggest society at 57%. Followed by Europe and America, which have the same portion at 14%. After that, Africa has only 10% of its citizens, and the last group is others besides the countries mentioned previously, at 5% of the world population. Instead, Asia is not a resource-consuming region. The largest resource consumers are the USA and Europe, accounting for 60%.
