The food expenditure in two countries have similar percentage, 22% percent in Britain and 27% in Hong Kong. Housing in Hong Kong cost a lot of expenses, reaching 32%, while in Britain the percentage showed two times less than the first, reaching 18%.
Transport system in 2000 has a lot of diverces. While in Hong Kong consumption for it was not much, just 9%, in Britain this percentage is two times higher, arriving at less than 20%. In addition, it is analysed that for the clothing, consumptions were low and resembling for both countries, achieving 7% for Britain and just 4% for Hong Kong.
