The pie chart demonstrates the proportion of energy production in Spain in 2008 and 2017.

Overall, oil recorded the second highest proportion in 2008 and significantly decline in 2017. Coal on the other hand, recorded the highest portion at 28% in 2008 after a sharp decline in 2017. Other producted accounted for the lowest portion in both years.
