The pie charts show the percentage of someland’s highest level of education attained by women in 1945 and 1955
In 1945, the proportion of woman with no schooling or third grade is 35% each. Additionally, 15% of women reached year 6 as their highest education. 50 years later, the number of those three categories dropped significantly to 0% .
On the contrary, the number of woman who reached year 12, first degree, and post graduate in 1995 are 20%, 50%, 20%, respectively. Whereas in 1945 the number of woman who completed year 12 and first degree only make up to 5% and none of them did post graduate.
To sum up, the data depicts the significant changes of woman’s level of literacy in someland over 5 decades that shift towards higher level of education.
