Overall, three household spendings declined(Food, Entertainment and Other basic necessities), and four expenditures increased(Housing, Transport, Health care and Education). While Housing and Food consistently remained the most high costs, Other basic necessities were overtaken by transport, which became third most popular.
The expenditures what increased in popularity are Housing, Transport, Health care and Education. Housing is the second highest throughout the period. In 1960 to 2010, it popularity rose from 22 percent to 25 percent. Transport, which started as fourth popular spendings at 14 percent, climed to 20 percent, meaning that it overtook Other basic necessities as the third popular expenditures. Finally Health care and Education started rather with same 4 percent in 1960, and increased each to 6 percent and 8 percent, respectively.
Food, Entertainment and Other basic necessities became less popular. Other basic necessities started as third most popular payments at the beginning(19 percent in 1960). However, its popularity dropped to 9 percent , resulting in becoming the fourth most popular costs by 2010. A less dramatic fall can be seen in Entertainment and Food. Between 1960 and 2010, Food expenses decreased from 34 percent to 30 percent. But even after its fall Food stayed at the first place, having the highest expenditures. While Entertaiment dropped from 3 percent in 1960 to 2 percent by 2010, having the smallest amount of changes.
