The pie charts present why flights were delayed in a specific Asian nation in 2015 and 2016. Overall, managing of operations in airlines were the most reason of delays in both years.
There were various reasons that caused flights to be done later in 2015. A small minority of them was due to airport security. Bad weather contributed to delays almost twice as much as military factors. A quarter of all delayed transportation by airplanes were because of air traffic control, which changed substantially in the next year.
In 2016, some factors had more impacts on delaying than others. The effect of air traffic decreased almost by half in this year in comparison to 2015. Airline operation management accounted for 46 percent of postponed flights, which rose by 6 percent. The least important reason was military factors, by making up 6 percent of delays.
On the whole, the number of flights were delayed because of bad weather in 2015 were marginally less than in 2016.
