The diagrams compare the number of tourists distributed across a country by region of origin during 2015 and 2025. The data of the pie charts is shown in percentage.
Overall, both charts appear in similar patterns with six regions of the world: Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Oceania. It can be seen clearly that Asia represents the largest proportion of tourists, while people visiting the Oceania region contribute the least in 2015 and 2025.
Looking at the illustration more precisely for 2015, most tourists- around three-quarters- visited Asian countries, followed by Europe at 28%, North America at 16%, and South America at 8%. Surprisingly, Africa and Oceania had an identical number of tourists in 2015.
Once again, Asia constitutes the highest percentage (38%), which increased by 4% in 2025. Oppositely, 4% of the Europe’s visitors decreased within 10 years. Regarding North and South America, there can be seen 14% and 10% of tourists, respectively. Moreover, Africa(8%) and Oceania (6%) rank fifth and sixth according to 2025.
