Overall, the young ages people suffered from insomnia because of stress the most, and the least percentage of people reported medication as a cause of insomnia. While, in group B with the older people, the dominant cause was ill health and the least popular was stress.
Despite stress was a significant cause of insomnia, there were other popular reasons, however. Drinks with caffeine were followed by depression and environmental factors, 29 and 10 percent, respectively. Medication and ill health were the least important causes of insomnia, the former with 6% and the latter with 5% of people reported.
In the second group of people the dominant cause was made up by ill health, and followed by depression. The 15% of people, reported that drinks with caffeine was also in the list of popular causes. Medication, environmental factors and stress constituted from 20% to 8%
