The pie charts illustrate the percentage of online sales in four different retail sectors in New Zealand over the period of 10 years, starting from 2003.
Overall, the proportional sales of clothes and travel experienced a downward trend over the final 10 years. However, the figures for film/music and books increased during this time frame.
In 2003, the percentage sales of travel were dominant in the retail sectors in this country, which made up more than one-third. Followed distantly by the figure for clothes, which contributed 24%. Ten years later, the proportional sale of travel occupied the second slot at 29%, and the figure for clothes dropped by 8% compared to the initial price at 16%.
On the other hand, the percentage sales of film/music surpassed the figure for travel and occupied the first slot at one-third, increasing significantly by 12% compared to the first period. Likewise, the figure for books increased marginally by 3% at the end of the period, at nearly one-fourth.
