The pie charts gives information about the percentages of the online shopping sales for different kinds of groups in New Zealand over a 10 year period.
Overall, the popularity for each group changed throughout the years, in New Zealand. In 2003, people preffered to shop online for travelling the most. Over a third of all individuals in New Zealand bought their tickets or made their reservations online. Following that, clothes spendings accounted for 24% on the chart. Film/music and books sector are the least popular categories for the people chosing to shop online.
In 2013, the categories stayed same, however, the percentages were different than they had been in 2003. The most significant change occured in film/music market and it placed in the top of the list, with 33%. After that, travel spendings came, with 29%. Suprisingly, book category improved its percentage and placed on the list as third. The percentage for clothes dropped from 24% to 16% and became the least popular retail sector for this year.
Finally, the sectors didn’t change throughout the years, however, while some of them became more popular for the people, others experienced significant declines in their percentages.
