Overall, at 1912 its very balanced out between all type of books except for travel books which got 15% and other kind of books which got 25%. Meanwhile at 1992, adult fiction rose by 5% which makes it the highest selling at the year but Biography went down by 5% also which makes it the lowest selling at the year 1992. Lastly, at 2012 Adult fiction dominates the market by taking up to 45% of the sales and followed up by children’s fiction at 25%.
To go into more details, 1972 was the most balanced out years compared to other years with only 10% gap of sales between the highest selling which is others type of books and lowest selling which is travel type of books. Similar with 1972, the data at 1992 is quite balanced also, with adult fiction sitting at the highest at 25% and biography at the lowest with only 10% gap. But, at 2012 the data would completely change with the significant rose of adult fiction books which rose by 20% compared to 1992 making it the highest selling kind of book sitting at 45% of book sold. The rose of adult fiction books also means that Biography, Travel and Other kind of books were not very popular sitting around 8-12% mark.
