Overall, there were always the highest number of people who owned the house in both year while people who occupied home for social work are less in both year. The share of private renting remained same throughout the period.
Looking at the pie charts in more detail, we can see that the total number of house renting and owning has increased around 5 millions between 1991 and 2007. The four kinds of owning and renting the house has maintained their position over the entire period. Moreover, private renting of home was apprximately 11% in both year. Social renting and social housing has decreased from almost 23% to 17% and 6% to 2% respectively over the past 16 years period.
The number of individuals who have bought the house permanently has experienced the modest growth from 60% to 70% between 1991 and 2007. It was the largest of all time among other activities.
