The two pie charts illustrate the proportion of pop music enthusiasts who are divided by age in the years 2018 and 2021. At first glance, it is clear that the percentages of the two charts are similar in many ways; the biggest difference, and a noticeable one, is the percentage of pop music enthusiasts ranging from around 19 to 25 years old.
With a further evaluation, the 15-18 age group covered the largest proportion of both charts, holding 37% in 2018 and 31% in 2021. While the older generations are aged 56 years old and above, they only cover from 3% to 7% for both charts. Moreover, pop music enthusiasts who are aged around 35 to 55 years old cover a humble portion of approximately 11% to 16% in both years, and the 26-34 age group only takes one-fourth of each chart, with a slight difference of 4%. On the other hand, in 2018, the recorded percentage of pop music enthusiasts stood at 28%; however, this number had a mild alteration and was more noticeable due to the slightly wider gap of 7% between the two years compared to the other age groups.
All things considered, the percentage of pop music enthusiasts who are grouped by age is very evenly spread, and does not have a major difference between the two years of 2018 and 2021. The biggest and most noticeable is the group of pop music enthusiasts aged between 19 to 25 years old.
