This figure was significantly higher than that of the next age bracket, 19 to 25 years old, which accounted for 28% of enthusiasts roughly half the proportion of the youngest group.
Interest in pop music continued to decrease amon older adults. those aged 35 to 55 made up 16% of the total, while the oldest category people aged 56 and over, had the smallest share at just 7%. Notably, the percentage for the 55+ group was less than one-fifth of the figure for 15-19 year olds.
