The given graphs illustrate the residential water use at the household between 1980 and 2008. While the usage of water increased for the kitchen and bathroom, the other remaining purposes decreased in percentage.

In 1980, the highest percentage was for bathroom use with 25%, followed by washing clothes in the second position with 22%. Next, the garden was the third with 20%. The last two categories were below 20%. There were toilet and kitchen usage only 18% and 15% repectively, with the kitchen being the lowest percentage for water usage.

Meanwhile, there was a significant increase for the kitchen category in 2008, the percentage was doubled to 30%, being the highest water usage.
