In 1980, the highest percentage was for bathroom use with 25%, followed by washing clothes in the second position with 22%. Next, the garden was the third with 20%. The last two categories were below 20%. There were toilet and kitchen usage only 18% and 15% repectively, with the kitchen being the lowest percentage for water usage.
Meanwhile, there was a significant increase for the kitchen category in 2008, the percentage was doubled to 30%, being the highest water usage. Bathroom rose slightly to 29%, being the second highest water use. Following this, washing clothes and toilet categories also experienced a slight decrease to 19% and 14%. Lastly, the garden plummeted from 20% to 8%, being the lowest percentage in water use.
