The pie charts compare the number of visitor who visited four different types of tourist attractions in the Uk in two different years, i.e., 1981 and 1999.
It is clearly apparent, the percentage of total visitor to tourist attractions in the Uk increased over the given period of time from 29. 1 million to 41.5 milliond visitors.In,1981,Museums and Gallaries were the most favoured destination by the tourists accounting for almost half of the visitors at48%, however this figure plunged at 38% in 1999.
On the other hand, theme parks was the second choice by tourists with 32%of the visitors in 1981.However, the percentile of tourists visting theme parks were decreased in 1991 to 37%. Whereas,the popularity of historic houses and monuments remained stable at 16% in both the years.Wildlife Parks and zoos were the least preferred tourist spot with only 4% and 9% of the vistors in the two given years, respectively.
As a whole, the number of total visitors increased over 18 years. Moreover, both museums and galleries,and theme parks were the most popular tourist attractions in the UK in the given period at the same time wildlife parks and zoos had the least popularity.
