The Pie Charts compared the amount of electricity produced from 5 different sources of fuel in two separate countries.
Overall,it can be seen that total electricity production increased dramatically over the years in both regions. However, the largest amount of electricity was produced from coal in Australia in these years.
To begin with,in Australia, cold was used to produce 50 units of the total production in 1980 and this particular source created 130 units of the sub total generation in 2000. One-fifth of the total electricity came from both natural gas and hydro power separately and accounted to only 2 units and 36 units by 2000 in the same region, respectively. Whereas, oil produced only 10 units in 1980 and amount decreased to only two percent in 2000.
In terms of France, nuclear power became the most important fuel source by generating 120 units of the total electricity. The amount of electricity created from cold remained the same in these years. Production from oil increased to 25 units from 21 units, a slight increase over the years. While, hydropower and nuclear power was less significant in terms of generating electricity
