Reporting overall electricity production units, both pie charts clarify the information about utilization of fossil fuels in Australia and France, while manufacturing energy in 1980 and 2000.
Overall, although Australia overtook France by producing slightly more (approx. 10) units of energy source in 1980, France surpassed Australia by using various types of fuel productions in both years, and reaching its peak by units in 2000.
In 1980, Australia showed a potential with higher amount of electricity production units, while exploiting from 50 units of Coal – which was double the usage of Coal in France, Oil – which was two times less than France, Natural Gas – which varied for only 5 units, and Hydro Power – which was four times more than utilization of Hydro Power in France. However, more than these, France used another type of fuel: Nuclear Power. Nuclear Power was never been familiar to Australia, where France on the other hand, enhanced the usage of Nuclear Power dramatically within near future. In 2000s, however, Australia tripled the units of Coal in total production of energy, while France remained the same according to the Coal. But notable sides of 2000 are that, France bombarded the utilization of Nuclear Power units from 15 to 126 in just two decades and took the first position in manufacturing the electricity. Other aspects of fuel also played a role, but most of them faced a decrease due to high range of Coal and Nuclear Power from 1980 to 2000.
