Overall, Chrome has been the most used searching website in both years, followed distantly by Firefox and Safari, which usage rate remained almost the same during these years.
In 2019, Chrome accounted for over two thirds of the searching websites usage. By contrast, Firefox and Safari figures were exactly the same at 9%. Following closely, other browsers were utilized by 8% of the users, while Edge ranked at the bottom with only 5% of the global searching usage.
When it comes to 2021, Chrome usage declined slightly to 67%, in the same way Firefox went down by 1% this year. However, Safari rose slightly to 10% and ranked at second possition, whereas Edge usage increased to twice its figure of 2019. Finally, other browsers culminated with 2% less usage than 2 years before.
