Overall, it can be seen that the teachers salaries made up the highest share among the other parts. in comparison, Learning Resources e.g. books made up almost the same segment, while Technology kept growing. In 1990, the highest contribution of the annual spending at a public school in Canada was made up by Teacher’s Salaries with 55 percent.
Moreover, Facilities & Maintenance was the second highest annual spending segment with 15%.
After 10 years, Teacher’s Salaries have decreased sharply by 5%. In comparison, Facilities & Maintenance have increased to 20%. In the end of the period Teacher’s Salaries also decreased to 45%, but Facilities & Maintenance rose to about 25%.
