Regarding the world population, The Asian Pacific accounted for 54% of the world population, which was far higher than the remaining areas. The proportion of people who lived in Europe, Africa, and Latin America & Caribbean were at 11%, 10%, and 9%, respectively. Meanwhile, 7% of the global population was from North America, closely followed by the Middle East and North Africa population, at 6%, which was double that of other regions.
In terms of educational expenditure, the highest percentage of people’s spending was on high school, at 33%. Additionally, the percentage of spending on primary school was identical to that of secondary school, at 26%. The amount of finance spent on university and further education made up only 8% and 7%, respectively.
