Overall, the Germans rely heavily on newspapers as their source of information, whereas majority of the Nigerian populace watch their news on television. Only a small percentage of people of both countries rely on other sources like their friends and family.
In Germany, almost half of the populace consumes news from newspapers in contrast to only a mere 13% in Nigeria. Moreover, almost 70% of the Nigerians watch news from televisions opposing to 37% of Germans.
The utilization of radio for means of information is more prevalent in Nigeria at around 22% in comparision to Germany, which only uses around 13%. However, the use of internet as a source of news data is more pronounced in Germany at almost one-fifth of the population. Both of the countries do not rely heavily on information from friends, family and other sources.
