The pie charts given show information about the consumption of four types of food in the world in 2008 compared to two seperate countries(China and India).
Generally, it is clear that the processed food was the highest sector in all graphs, whilst nuts and seeds was the lowest proportion in two seperate category (World and India)
In 2008, processed food was the highest range in India (39%), however this proportion in the World’s sector was 2% more than India. Animal food was the second highest figure in India (27%) and it was almost equal with the proportion of World (26%). Vegetables and fruits was lower in India (23%) as compared to the World (26%). Nuts and seeds’ proportion was 11% in India and it was higher than the average consumption of World.
In 2008, processed food was the highest sector in China (34%), but this proportion in the World’s range was 7% more than China. Vegetables and fruits was the second highest figure in China (33%), and it was 3% more than the World’s proportion. Animal food was 15% in China, but it was 11% less than the proportion of the World.Nuts and seeds was the lowest figure in China (19%) and it was 15% more than the average consumption of the World (4%).
