The diagrams represent the proportion of how students in an adult education centre choose different courses in the years 1985 and 2024.
At first glance, Modern languages was the biggest contributor in 1985, while music appreciation had the lowest percentage. As time went on, this year, IT becomes the course that is chosen by most students, but Music appreciation and Local history have totally disappeared.
The charts indicate that although IT was not chosen by any students in the year 1985, it has grown significantly and plays the main proportion in 2024, as the most favored course with nearly third-tenths proportion. A slight increase is recorded at Cookery percentagewise, from 14% in 1985 to 19% in 2024. In addition, Fitness and dance has maintained its attribution to total picked courses, stably at 22% throughout the years.
However, although Music appreciation and Local history are chosen by none in 2024, they contributed a fair percentage in 1985, at 8% and 15%, respectively. During the corresponding period, Modern languages has shrunk moderately by 5%, from 24% to 17%, as displayed.
